HISTORY/HOSTS
The 320 Guest Ranch was founded in 1898 as Buffalo Horn Resort along a stage run from Gallatin Gateway to West Yellowstone. Since the beginning, it has been a place to get away from it all, and enjoy the outdoors.
The 320 has enjoyed having only four owners in its long history, from Sam Wilson, whose original homestead cabin still stands as part of the new restaurant.
Dr. Caroline McGill, Montana's first woman doctor and the states first pathologist, owned the ranch until her passing in January, 1959. She is considered by many to have been a woman ahead of her time. She is responsible for creating the world renown Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Montana. Her great love of the outdoors has left a great legacy.

James and Patty Goodrich worked for Dr. McGill and purchased the ranch from her estate after her death. The 320 was operated as a dude ranch during their tenure.
The greatest changes to the 320 Ranch have occured since its ownership by David Brask. Mr. Brask is responsible for taking a 20 guest dude ranch and turning it into 250+ year round guest ranch/resort. The 320 has one of the state's largest indoor arenas, a 180 person conference facility, and many new lodging accommodations.
The staff at the 320 Ranch looks forward to continuing the legacy of this wonderful place, with its unmatched beauty and hospitality.

ITINERARY
You can customize your own itinerary here on the ranch. We can arrange for you to do a host of activities or you can arrange to just sit and enjoy the pristine scenery.
