RECREATION
---
Bucks and Spurs Guest Ranch is different! Natural horsemanship ranch in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri. Our goal is to have a great time and improve your riding skills and horsemanship. The tools we use are great horses, great trails and fun loving cowboys. Experience colt starting and see horses rode for the first time using the Horse Whisper method of gentle training of the horses. A typical day at the ranch involves miles of beautiful trail riding, swimming, tubing, canoeing and fishing for small mouth bass and brownies or hiking the trails to stretch your legs after a day of horseback riding. Children and adults both love to try their skill at roping a log or calf from the ground. We have colts to pet and other ranch animals. We finish the day with a campfire and story telling. Lots to do at the ranch and in the area. World capital for the Missouri Fox Trotting horse and nearby are the Bass Pro Museum, Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum, 5 area lakes, golf courses, Silver Dollar City Theme Park and Branson the Live Country Music Capital of the World. If you don’t know the Ozarks it is a pocket wilderness in the Midwest that has clear mountain streams and beautiful timber. Missouri has the second largest horse population in the country. Bucks and Spurs offers gaited and quarter horses as well as paints, pintos, palominos, sorrels, red duns and Belgian draft horses for the wagon and large riders. Cattle drives and horse herding and interesting trail rides. Fishing, tubing, canoeing and swimming on Big Beaver. All meals included.
