| LODGING |
 |
| Meticulously maintained cabins, dating back to the 1920's, are arranged in camp villages, and built in the same log and stone style as the lodges located within each village. Each lodge has a piano, shuffleboard, fireplace, wood floors, and abounds with Old West and Indian artifacts. Trail's End ranches for ages 12-17 feature covered wagon-style accommodations that house four campers each. Central bathhouses serve each camp village. Wooden bunk beds have monogrammed sheets and pillowcases, warm wool blankets and comfortable mattresses. Each participant has a set of drawers. The Family Camp is located at the covered wagon camp that we are so well know for. |

| Cheley is world renown for its program for youth. Dating back to the 1920's when Frank Cheley had a vision for young people that included them being in the great outdoors out west. The program is challenging and fun and includes hiking on the vast miles of hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park, backpacking into the wilderness areas and the national park, horseback riding the vast trails around the camp property and into the national forest and park, horse packing trips, riding instruction in one of five western rings, colt training, gymkhana events, instruction in saddling, bridling, and grooming of horses, technical climbing in the indoor gym or outdoor on the granite slabs on the camp property, sports and games, arts and crafts, target shooting, archery, river rafting on the Poudre River, mountain biking on forest service trails, camping out under the stars, and evening campfire programs including skits, songs, and dances. In-depth instruction for all levels of experience in each activity area. Extensive supervision of children by college-age or older staff. Cheley Camps was awarded the Eleanor Eels award for excellence in programming from the American Camps Association. |

| ITINERARY |
 |
| Every camper's schedule varies based on their choices made during the weekly sign-ups (daily for family camp). A typical day begins with breakfast at 7:30 am and activities beginning between 8:15 and 9:00 depending on activity or destination. Daily activities finish by 4:00 so campers have an opportunity for a treat at the camp store and a shower before dinner at 6:00 pm. The evenings are a delightful time with campfire programs in each lodge. The evening activities include square dancing, singing songs, special presentations, games, and relaxed cabin nights. Fun, friendship and personal growth abound at Cheley. |
