Fishing

The ranch has 6 stocked spring-fed lakes to fish in. A Colorado State Record bluegill was caught in one of our lakes. Guests can fish for bass and bluegill from the bank or from our canoes and rowboats. You have the choice of practicing catch-and-release, or we can prepare your "keepers" for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. For those who have always wanted to fly-fish, we can provide a guide to teach the basics of casting, fish behavior, and fly selection. Bring your favorite rod or use one of ours.

For those interested in river fly-fishing off the ranch, we are happy to arrange guided fishing trips on the South Platte River, renown for its trout fishing.
