Dude/Guest Ranches

LODGING
One, two and three bedroom units are all carpeted, air-conditioned and heated and all have porches with rocking chairs offering a beautiful mountain view. All units are furnished with quilts and country decor. Rustic luxury!

RECREATION
Each day you will have a variety of activities from which to choose. Guided trail rides are offered daily. Choose from easy going, scenic rides to more challenging rides. We have a great group of wranglers and excellent, sure-footed mountain horses. Riding orientation and instruction are provided. You may also wish to go white water rafting, tubing on the South Toe River, try gem mining, play golf, go fishing, hiking or swimming. We also have van trips to nearby local attractions and craft shops.

FOR CHILDREN
We have counselors and special activities for children between 5 and 12 years old. "Just for Kids" recreation building has TV, VCR, ping-pong, volley ball, pool tables and games. Counselors take children on hikes to waterfalls, "Jr. Wrangler" rides, campfire cookouts, swimming and fishing.

FOOD/LIQUOR
Three Family style meals served daily in abundance. Fresh brewed coffee and cold drinks are available 24 hours a day. Steak cookout beside river, chicken/rib cookout and burger/hot dog lunch cookouts too. Our Cantina offers a supply of wine, beer or mixed drinks (at additional cost).If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know ahead of time and we will try to accommodate your needs.

BUSINESS/MEETINGS
Our facilities are well suited and equipped for small conferences, sales seminars or family reunions. We can accommodate a maximum of 62 guests, depending upon sleeping accommodations required by your group. we can offer exclusive use of the ranch for your group, however minimum guarantees are required.

We have a 1500 sq. ft. conference center, plus another small meeting room. We can arrange our schedule to accommodate your group, and offer activities such as horseback riding, craft tours, golf, w/w rafting tailored to your group.

HISTORY/HOSTS
Clear Creek Ranch was established in 1996 by Rex and Aileen Frederick. Their dream was to create a western ranch in the Blue Ridge Mountains that would allow guests an opportunity to spend less than a full week, and one that they could reach by automobile.

ITINERARY
Sunday arrival: marshmallow roast after dinner
Monday: Morning horseback ride & waterfall hike. After lunch, another ride, plus tubing on the river. Monday night volleyball guests against the staff.
Tuesday: Horseback/White-water rafting/horsepainting for kids/tubing/hayride & steak cookout on the river in evening
Wednesday: All day ride/karaoke at night
Thursday: Horseback/gem mine trip - craft tour for adults/evening Margarita Night - Adult dinner/Cowboy cookout for kids
Friday: W/w rafting - line dancing in the evening
Saturday: Rodeo/rib & chicken cookout/Hootenanny in evening
