| The charming and historic log cabins are spaced along the stream and around large, well-kept lawns. Cabins have 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms and private baths. Four attractive log houses are also available as guest accommodations. Houses have two or three bedrooms, two or more baths, living rooms with fireplaces, washers and dryers. Our recreation building is made up of a series of rooms for reading, games, ping-pong, music and card games. Phones and Internet connection for guest use are located in a central area near the ranch office. Same day laundry service is available for a small fee. |

| During the day, you can ride, fish, hike, swim or relax with a book, as you please. Each person is furnished with a horse matched to his or her ability, and a comfortable western saddle. The CM has an exceptionally fine string of horses, both gentle and spirited, suitable for the beginner or the expert rider. During the week you will have an opportunity to go on an all-day ride, early morning breakfast ride, and test your horsemanship skills in the gymkhana. The CM owns four miles of Jakey’s Fork, the stream which runs through the ranch, allowing guests to fish privately for rainbow, brook and brown trout. Nearby is the famous Wind River and glacier fed lakes. Our resident angler is available for lessons and guided fishing (extra) or you may fish on your own. There is excellent hiking on the ranch lands, or the adjacent Fitzpatrick Wilderness, where you may walk along waterfalls and see many alpine wildflowers. You may wish to spend an afternoon hunting for rocks and fossils. The ranch has a heated outdoor pool and spa. A professional cowboy music group performs once a week, and there is a visit by a local historian. On the ranch there are areas for volleyball, ping-pong, softball, basketball and horseshoes. The town of Dubois hosts a square dance one evening a week. Saturday evenings we have an outdoor cookout at a lovely location near the ranch. A trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks can be included from a day’s excursion from the ranch. Many of our guests enjoy shopping at the unique stores in town or golfing at Dubois’s challenging course. Three day or longer pack trips are available (extra) to our exclusive and remote base camp near Moon Lake in the Wind River Mountains (pack trips are popular and should be booked early). |

| Children have a great time getting to know each other, and many life-long friendships begin at the CM Ranch. All ages are welcome. Children 5 years and older may ride. Our experienced "kiddy wrangler" will ride with the children and provide excellent instruction. Babysitting is available for infants and younger children, and we have cribs and high chairs. All ages are encouraged to participate in a variety of family activities taking place each day. |

| All ages eat together in a large, attractive dining room furnished with Native American artifacts. Breakfast is cooked to order, featuring such items as homemade granola and fresh fruit, omelets, sourdough pancakes and freshly baked breads. Lunch is buffet and people enjoy eating in the shaded porches that overlook the stream, Jakey’s Fork. Carefully prepared and well-balanced dinners are served family style. Vegetarian dishes are available, and special diets can be accommodated with advance notice. |

| The CM is available throughout the season for family/friend groups and reunions. Early June and September are offered for meetings, retreats and weddings. We have four large rooms for meeting facilities, and we can take care of most special needs and requests. September weather is suitable for lovely outdoor weddings in a beautiful setting. |

| We have 40 – 50 guests each week, and the size is ideal, as there are always several age groups, assuring congenial companionship for all. The town of Dubois (6 miles away) is a classis small western town with many nice shops. Dubois was an early meeting place for trappers and fur traders, and around it were the wintering grounds for the Shoshone and Arapahoe tribes. There are two museums devoted to the history of the area. Unique geology on CM ranch lands has ancient petroglyphs, a crystal cave, and an extraordinary display of geologic exposures in the glacial valley. |

| HISTORY/HOSTS |

| The CM is listed with the National Historic Registry, and has been in continuous operation since 1927, with the exception of the early years of World War II. The ranch was established by Charles Moore, the son of a trader who lived on the Shoshone Indian reservation. The CM was sold to Les and Alice Shoemaker in 1952. In 1967, Erroll Peterson joined the partnership. He and his wife Lisa managed the ranch through 1997 along with Barbara Shoemaker. The ranch was purchased by the Kemmerer family in 1997. The Kemmerer’s have a significant presence in Wyoming and have played an important role in the history of the state. They frequently visited the ranch as children and are committed to maintaining the legendary CM traditions, which inspire visitors to return year after year. The Kemmerers and their managers, Mike and Kass Harrell, look forward to sharing the beautiful countryside and unique lifestyle with their guests. |

| ITINERARY |

|
| Rides go out every day except Sunday. Morning ride leave at 9:00 AM and return in time for lunch, afternoon rides depart at 2:00 PM and return at 3:30 or 4:00 PM. On Wednesday morning, you may want to participate in the breakfast ride. Riders leave the ranch at 7:00 AM and meet at the banks of the Wind River for breakfast cooked over an open fire. On Thursdays, all-day rides go to Whiskey Mountain (home of the largest herd of Bighorn sheep in North America), on a fishing expedition on horseback up the valley, or you may spend a fascinating day exploring the colorful sandstone mesas and canyons of the Badlands. Children participate in a gymkana on Friday. Saturday afternoons we have team penning for all riders in the rodeo arena, where guests may test their riding skills. Each evening there is a planned activity or entertainment, which may vary from week to week. We maintain flexibility in order to satisfy each group that is here during any particular time. You may find yourself engaged with others in a bingo game or scavenger hunt after dinner, or learning how to make a rope halter. A professional cowboy music group entertains one night each week. A photographer will come one morning to take family and horseback pictures, and return after dinner for an amusing slide show. Children and teens may enjoy a campout with some of the crew while their parents and other adults meet a local historian who will give a talk on the area. You may wish to join in the perpetual whiffle-softball game, which seems to be taking place all summer long on the big lawn in front of the dining room. On Saturday evenings, guests will enjoy riding the fire truck to the cookout at Torrey Creek, then watching the sun set while listening to guitar music and singing. The CM is friendly and informal and everyone gets a chance to know each other very easily. We are especially proud of our enthusiastic and friendly crew. Many of our employees are former guests, who have returned to work at the ranch during their college years. |
