LODGING
The ranch is located just where you would want it to be (remote and at the end of the road), in the upper Green River Valley at an elevation of 8,200 feet in flower covered alpine meadows adjacent to the 3 1/2 million acre Bridger-Teton National Forest. From the cabins, you get views across the Green River valley to the snow capped peaks of the Wind River Range. Most of Wyoming's tallest peaks, largest glaciers and trout records are from this area. We offer fishing for 6 types of trout and arctic grayling. Individual cabins are scattered in a timbered setting. Our oldest cabin is the Homestead cabin and is a one room cabin. Several cabins, from one room cabins up to a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, a kitchen and a great room which can sleep up to 10. Maid Service per your needs.

RECREATION
We are designed to do those things you want to do. We design the week with your help. A very wide variety of year round adventures: horses, float trips, canoeing, camp outs, pack trips, naturalist oriented hiking tour, fly fishing and spin fishing, gear drops, spot packs, archery, rifle range, horseshoes, tree house, teepees, fishing schools, wilderness skills training, cook outs, bon fires with mountain tales, motor boat rides or fishing on one of the areas many lakes, fishing guide service available, Mountain Man Museum tour. Winter Activities: snowmobiling (1 mile off of Continental Divide trail system) Cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Rental equipment available.

FOR CHILDREN
A very child friendly environment. Teepees, tree house, archery lanes, rifle range (with very conscientious safe instructors and only if asked by guardians), horseback riding lessons, fishing lessons. Private lessons available if neccesary.

FOOD/LIQUOR
The ranch has a reputation for great food with a slightly gourmet flare. Offering Dutch Oven specials and outdoor BBQ. Special diets are no problem with advance notice. BYOB, and we remind everyone that this is a family resort and to please use with discretion.

BUSINESS/MEETINGS
A great place to mix small meetings and family reunions for those who want a blend of outdoor activities. Private group capacity is 34.

REGION/CUSTOMS
The Historic DC Bar Guest Ranch is one of the oldest in the area. We sit at the head of the valley which was once the favorite spot for the Rendezvous of the Mountain Men and Trappers. The DC Bar Ranch has a very colorful history and many wonderful stories. Our 15 historic Cabins are scattered through the woods.
