The essential guide to dude, guest, and working cattle ranches worldwide.
Magdalena, NM USA
For over two years, Tim and Marilyn Norris searched the West for a setting that combined the authenetic Western way of life with a magnificent setting and seclusion. A place where city folks could truly get away from it all and join in camaraderie, savoring rich, western heritage, history, and pure natural beauty. In 2014 they opened Concho Hills, and today they offer guests a slice of heaven and a piece of paradise.
They believe that ranching isn’t just an occupation, it is a heritage. A way of life based on tradition. An institution where change is carefully examined, and its value tested, before it is accepted. As eloquently sung by Don Edwards, in the song For Those that Lean to Lonesome: “ It’s all about horses, the cattle, and men, about the country, the work, and the pride…” At their dude ranch you can visit and experience this heritage with them!
As Tim and Marilyn say: "There's nothing new under the sun here...and that's we way we like it.
