Lodging

Our spacious lodge provides the perfect venue for comfort and relaxation. Inside we have large stone fireplaces, Western art and artifacts, a full library of books and games and tempting aromas to whet your appetite. Feel free to take some cookies and lemonade in the afternoon and put your feet up on our deck, surrounded by colorful perennials and watch the hummingbirds buzz between the feeders. Our shaded log cabins are spread out, often overlooking a pond or stream, all have porches, most with wonderful Teton views. All cabins have small fridges, coffeemakers, electric heat, ceiling fans and bathrooms complete with showers and tubs. Larger two bedroom cabins have a living room and wood burning stoves. Daily housekeeping and ice delivery. Laundry facilities available to the guests in the afternoons and evenings.

Activities

Our emphasis is on a family vacation being spent with your family. Rides are small, usually just your family and a wrangler, and go out twice daily. All day rides are also available. Being surrounded by Grand Teton National Park we often see elk, buffalo, mule deer, antelope and coyotes on our rides, so be sure to bring your camera! If riding is not your thing, try fly-fishing on one of our many stocked trout ponds. We have all the equipment and are glad to teach you if you've never done it before. Patience is the only requirement. We can also arrange for guided fishing trips on the Snake River, or other rivers close by. Hiking is also a favorite pastime, and we can always point you in the right direction for that and even pack you a picnic lunch if you think you might miss a meal. Croquet, horseshoes, ping-pong and volleyball are also available on the ranch and sometimes the staff and guests will play softball in our "Field of Dreams" after dinner. Evenings are great for driving off the ranch and looking for game- moose especially are a treat to see. Other off site activities we encourage are scenic and whitewater floats, tennis, golf and visits to the museums, stores and galleries in the town of Jackson. Sight seeing in Grand Teton and Yellowstone are also popular side trips if you feel a need to give your horse a break.

Children

Children of all ages are welcome, but there is no organized childrens program. Our minimum riding age is 6. Our predominantly Southern college staff is well mannered and enthusiastic and become great role models for the young.

Dining

We believe good food is just as important as a good horse. Our chefs serve breakfast to order, complete with fresh fruit and homemade muffins or pastries. Lunch is a buffet, with a hearty soup and a hot entree, several salads, Boars Head meat selections for sandwiches, and of course peanut butter and jelly and lots of homemade cookies and desserts. We have cocktails and hors d'oeuvres before dinner where guests can gather with new found friends and relax before a fire. We are happy to provide the setups, chill your wine and pour your drinks, but it is BYOB. Dinner is always a greatly anticipated event where you can choose among 4 entrees. We try to have something the kids will like and we are more than willing to accommodate special dietary requests given advance notice. Children eat with their parents, not separately. Sunday night cookouts with singing and s'mores.
