We will take you anywhere you want to go – from a secluded cross-country ski trip to a peaceful ride across the ranch on horseback. You can even cheer on the Miniat girls as they compete at the local rodeos all summer. Our passion for the rustic rancher’s way of life drives us, and we want to share that passion with you.
A bit about our philosophy
Since the Miniat family moved to Williams Peak Ranch, we have worked hard to revert the land to its natural state, and our efforts are paying off, we were recently nominated for the Most Conservation Oriented Ranch in the region. In this way, we take visitors back to ranching the way mother nature intended.
Though our family operates the ranch much as it was run at the turn of the century, we use modern-day practices for conservation of natural resources, such as rotating cattle to preserve river bottoms, wetland restoration, and developing wildlife habitat protection. The cattle are raised without growth hormones and antibiotics, while the pastures are fed with natural fertilizer. The goal is to cater to a society looking to eat and live healthfully – this is what the Williams Peak Ranch experience is truly about.
