Activities
Adventure enthusiasts rejoice! Our 37,000-acre ranch features 100 miles of trails, 10 miles of the Blackfoot River and 1.5-million acres of the neighboring Bob Marshall Wilderness – making it the ultimate wilderness playground for adults and kids alike. Saddle up for a definitive equestrian experience, take your best shot at a world-class sporting clays course, cast a fly with an expert guide or kick up some dust on an ATV tour. Nearby championship golf may challenge you next. And, if that doesn’t satisfy your adventure appetite, there’s also swimming, boating, hiking, mountain biking, paintball, rafting, kayaking, rappelling and more. Visit in the winter, and you’ll be challenged with endless cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dogsledding and snowmobiling trails. And downhill skiing is just a short drive away. When it comes to adventure, Paws Up is an all-you-can-eat buffet.
Children
Our 37,000-acre ranch resort features a pristine Rocky Mountain environment most kids only see on TV. Supervised, age-appropriate activities include everything from horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking and fishing to nature education, wrangler activities and wildlife appreciation.
The Paws Up "Kids Corps of Discovery" is held seven days a week. Full and half-day programs are available for children ages 5 to 12. Activities include a trip to a ghost town, a day of fun in the sun at the Paws Up lake house, authentic ranch experiences and more.
Dining
An extraordinary array of culinary delights ranging from gourmet four-course meals to authentic barbeques. Preparing these delectable meals is our very own Executive Chef Adam Cooke. Pomp is open nightly for dinner and offers guests the finest culinary experience in Montana. Trough, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offers a more casual menu. Tank is an intimate and comfortable bar with a modern Western look. Guests may enjoy the expansive views of the surrounding mountains and the coziness of the lounge's wood-burning fireplace, whether they are sitting inside on one of several comfortable couches and chairs, or outside on the heated patio. Tank offers a large selection of refreshments and cocktails.
