Guests are hosted in two log cabins at the main ranch. Each Cabin has two rooms. Three single beds available in three of the rooms. One room has a double bed with one single bed. Each room has a separate bathroom. Cabin are surrounded by large shade trees, on lush green grass with many various types of flowers. Washer and Dryer are available in main house for guest use, if needed. Maid service provided if staying more than one week. Fresh towels are always available. Bath soap is provided in each bath. Main ranch house is located on a peninsula surround by large trees, wildlife, and water from the Snake River.
Activities
We are a working cattle ranch. We do our work with the cattle as the need arises, not a specific activity at a specific time. Most of the week is spent scattering cattle on the range, doctoring cattle, packing in salt to pastures in the Rocky Mountains, trailing cattle to new pastures and gathering strays, in some of the most scenic mountain country in Idaho. Upon your arrival, you will be matched up with one or two horses to be ridden by you for the duration of your stay at the ranch. We maintain approximately thirty horses for use in cattle operations. Use our saddle or feel free to bring your own. If you want to rope or learn how, just let us know.
Children
No structured programs.
Dining
Meals are served family style in the main ranch house. Breakfast is at 7:00am, Lunches are fixed and loaded into coolers to be taken to the mountain for the daily ranchwork. Evening meals are servied between 6:00pm and 7:00pm after ranch chores. No wine or liquor provided. Our goal is that no one will leave hungry!
