Deposit: 50 percent to confirm reservation.

LODGING
A five-bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, and two fire-place, ranch style lodge. We also have a full scale horse facility for those who bring their own horses.
Backcountry hut trip $25 per person, per night, sleeps 5. Reservations needed; (970) 824-7400.

RECREATION
Seasonal Activities
SUMMER: 1,200 head of cattle and 10,000 acres, offering cattle work, trail riding and riding lessons. Fly-fishing, hiking, and mountain biking on the ranch. Steamboat’s weekly PRCA Rodeo.
WINTER: All day, every day of the week, unlimited skiing and snowshoeing; $10 (dogs welcome!) All day x-country skiing and snowshoeing and a ranch style hot lunch $20. (Reservations needed).
Special Events: Elkhead Ranch has partnered with Elkhorn Outfitters to offer:
An enchanting sleigh ride steak dinner; $42 per person. Children 12 & under, ½ price.
Snow-mobile tours, all day, $185 per person, including a hot lunch. Both sleigh ride dinner and snow-mobile tour, $217 per person.

NO specific children programs; special arrangements can be made for riding families.



FOOD/LIQUOR
Hearty country cooking served family style. Home-baked breads, fresh fruits and vegetables. Organic meats and produce are used whenever possible. Bring your own libations and we'll supply the mixers. When customizing for special groups, we do our best to accommodate you.

Weddings and other day events: 200 on day of event.
