REGION/CUSTOMS
Our ranch reflects 5 generations of our western heritage, history and hospitality. We welcome 15 guests per week from May through September and 4 to 8 October through April.

HISTORY/HOSTS
George, his wife Patricia, son Mike and his wife Maria and granddaughter Mary now operate the ranch and guest business. Having spent five generations caring for the land, we are very conscious of the pulse of nature and how we, as ranchers, fit into that rhythm. Our high percentage of returning guests is testimony to the pleasure, comfort and relaxation found here. We welcome guests into our home to experience a living part of ranching history spanning over one hundred years of raising horses and cattle, and 70 years of sharing our 3,200 acre ranch with guests from all over the world.

ITINERARY
A typical day at the ranch starts with the wranglers bring the horses from night pasture to the barn. Guests are welcome to watch or help with brushing and feeding the horses. Then it's back to the Lodge for a hearty breakfast.Ride 2 to 3 hours in the morning. Groups are split as to riders ability and preference of distance and terrain. The majority of the riding has to do with ranch operation; checking cattle, fence and range conditions. The guest can get right in and help when the cattle most be moved to fresh grass or can just ride along and watch. After a delisious nurishing lunch there is time to relax before another two or three hours of riding different parts of the ranch each day. Some of the rides will be history and nature orinated for those that are interested. Guests are invited to ask questions at any time Dinner, as well as lunch and breakfast are an example of top rate ranch style cooking with plenty of fresh vegetables, fruit, ranch raised beef, home made bread and desserts. Coffee, tea and lemonaid are always available. Evenings are for visiting on the front porch with fellow guests and crew or to watch a horse being shop at the barn, practice roping or walking in the cool evening to see the deer coming down for water or just relax and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the land.Sleep comes easy in comfortable beds and cool, low humidity.
