HISTORY/HOSTS
Margi Schroth has been operating the Ranch since 1979. She has five children: Lily, 19; Cara, 14; Gus, 11; Turner, 11 and Avery,3. Jamie Ringley, a third generation ranch worker (his great-uncle Dean Thomas was the Corral boss for 56 years!)is the Ranch Office Manager in charge of the Office including all reservations and hiring. He met his wife, Frannie, at the Ranch and they have 2 children, Charlie, 10 and Georgie, 7. All of the Ranch children serve as informal hosts in their age groups to welcome other kids to the wonders of the Ranch! Richard Platt (whose grandfather came in 1914) manages the physical plant, the water system and the summer shooting and the fall hunting programs. Paul Scherf and Jared Gagliagno have headed up the Corral for many years and have the experience it takes to match every horse and rider. An energetic staff of 50 young, college-age people who have returned year after year make sure there is always a bright and friendly face to assist each guest and, in particularly, the children.
