LODGING
Our log home lodge offers four large cozy rooms, each with a queen and twin bed. Bathrooms are shared by two rooms. Television is available in the spacious living room with a large stone fireplace.

RECREATION
Scenic trails, riding lessons, a horse for everyone, campfires, hiking, biking, gold panning, fishing in the San Poil river and nearby mountain lakes. Golf nearby. Winter: Snow shoes, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, feeding cattle and horses.

FOR CHILDREN
Families welcome. A variety of activities and animals for children. Riding introduction for all.

FOOD/LIQUOR
Eating with the family at the dining room table, a variety of meals served family style with tender steaks, savory pastas and creative specials by the cook.

HISTORY/HOSTS
The discovery of gold back in 1896 was the founding of Republic between two of the states highest passes. Gold is still being mined here along with cattle ranching and timber harvesting

ITINERARY
After a hearty breakfast, an introduction to a horse, saddle,riding lessons and a scenic trail ride. Hiking if you prefer. Your choice of activities after lunch,fossil sites,fishing, paning for gold,tours,golf,museums,etc. Share your days experience at the campfire after dinner.
