LODGING
Our Spacious Lodge rooms are tastefully furnished with king or double beds, private bathrooms, and breathtaking views of the Buffalo Valley. Several rooms have adjoining doors for family suites. Most rooms have outside entrances that open to a redwood deck, and all our rooms are non-smoking.

The King House is a beautiful, secluded lodge perfect for large families or groups. It has 8 bedrooms on three floors with one large bathroom centrally located on each floor. This lodge has a beautiful stone fireplace joined by a spacious living and dining area along with a full size kitchen and private laundry facilities. Open Spring through Fall.

Our rooms may not have TV's or telephones in them, but there are many phones located in the main lodge for your use.
We also offer conference facilities for business meetings, retreats and team building functions.

RECREATION
King Mountain Ranch encourages you to CUSTOMIZE your ranch vacation by offering the opportunity to choose from many structured events available every day or enjoy the various “unstructured” activities at your leisure. Guests can be as active or relaxed as they’d like each day and still spend quality time with family and friends.
HORSEBACK RIDING
We offer guests the opportunity to ride National forest trails unavailable to other ranches. Our excellent horseback-riding program is tailored to your experience level from first time riders to seasoned equestrians. Enjoy trail rides through miles of beautiful mountains & open meadows twice daily; we also offer an assortment of breakfast & wildlife rides, family rides (on request) and all-day rides - 6 hours in the saddle! Everyone is welcome to take a riding lesson or practice horsemanship skills in our large arena. For those who are interested, we keep a small herd of steers to teach our guests the fundamentals of working cattle and team penning – one of the most requested activity at the ranch!

FLY-FISHING & SPORT SHOOTING
You can try your luck at fly-fishing in our stocked, private lake. We have all the equipment you need to try this great Colorado activity, along with rowboats and paddleboats. Or, challenge your skill on our skeet, trap, and sporting clays ranges at the top of our mountain (Great View!) It's great fun for beginners or expert marksmen!

HIKING & NATURE WALKS
Pack your hiking shoes to experience the beauty of the Arapaho National Forest! For those looking forward to exploring the many trails and meadows by foot we offer all levels of Hiking - both guided and unguided.
RECREATION CENTER ACTIVITIES, BOWLING, TENNIS & BASKETBALL
We are the only ranch that has an antique bowling alley in our Recreation Center! It also houses our billiards and ping-pong tables, board games, and a big screen TV with a wall full of videos. We also have two lighted tennis courts & a basketball court for your enjoyment day or night.

SWIMMING & WATER ACTIVITIES
Enjoy a dip in our oversized indoor swimming pool. We keep it heated to just the right temperature and have plenty of water toys available for the kids. You can also relax in our indoor or outdoor hot tubs. Don't forget the paddleboats and rowboats on our private lake!
Horseback riding & instruction, team penning, fishing, swimming, skeet, trap and shooting clays ranges, hiking, horseshoes, cookouts, lighted tennis courts, antique bowling alley, ping-pong, video library, hot tub, gift shop (nearby golf, rafting, and hot air ballooning).

FOR CHILDREN
Families love our comprehensive children's program! Foxes' Den activities can include rides every day in the arena or trail rides, bowling, archery, and swimming. Kids will get the chance to practice horseback riding in the arena with our wranglers assistance. The rest of the day is occupied with arts and crafts, children's cookout, enjoying the petting zoo, coloring activities and many more events organized by the childrens' counselors.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAM (Foxes' Den) continued
We have designed the Foxes' Den program to offer kids ages from 4 – 12 activities tailored to their interests. Throughout the week there are special opportunities that all the kids enjoy such as "Kid's Only Cookout," grooming and saddling their own horses, tie-Dye, making homemade Ice Cream, barnyard olympics and Nature hikes. It makes you wish you were a kid again!

This program allows parents time alone for a "breath of fresh air" without creating two separate vacations for the children and adults. Recognizing the importance of "together time" on your family vacation, meals are a key time for kids, parents, and grandparents to sit down together to share the day's excursions and stories.

FOOD/LIQUOR
If there's one thing that sets King Mountain Ranch apart from other ranches, it's the food! Our breakfasts can include Omelet stations with your choice of ingredients, fresh fruits, cereals, and breads. Lunches feature hearty choices with a variety of homemade soups, salads, and sandwiches. Evenings begin with tempting appetizers served in our Trails End Lounge, after which you dine on delicious dinners or enjoy a real western BBQ while looking at incredible sunsets, private lake and mountains.

Enjoy our fully stocked liquor and wine selections in our Trails End Lounge!

BUSINESS/MEETINGS
Two conference rooms, 45 and 35 people, classroom, respectively, smaller break-out rooms. Basic A/V equipment available at no additional charge.
