RECREATION
---
The Lazy L&B Ranch is known for extensive riding through an unusual variety of terrain. With rides ranging from three and a half hours to all day long, beginner and advanced groups are kept small to enhance your enjoyment and allow special instruction. Trot along the cottonwood river bottoms and tall rangeland grasses or follow the red rock cliffs into a sand canyon drawn up onto the high plateaus of the Wind River Indian Reservation. Lope across high mountain meadows lined with thick pine trees and abundant wild flowers. Early or late in the season herds of elk and deer along with moose or coyotes may be seen. Enjoy the wilderness on a 4-6 day high country pack trip. Anglers will enjoy fishing in the stocked ponds, the East Fork of the Wind River on the ranch, or in the Wiggins Fork, Bear Creek and Wind River. Hike into narrow red rock canyons. Swim in the river or our ranch pool. Soak in our hot tub along the river and under the towering red cliffs. Try your luck at the rifle range. Enjoy an afternoon in the leather working shop. In the town of Dubois there is a weekly square dance, a chance to visit the Big Horn Sheep Center and museum and time to browse the attractive western shops along the boardwalk.
FOR CHILDREN
---
The Lazy L&B is a family oriented ranch where children and their parents will experience ranch life as a family. There is a supervised riding program for children 5 years and older that includes riding and safety instruction. Two nights a week the children dine early with the wranglers, one night being a hay ride BBQ. Dinners are followed by activities such as feeding the horses, roping and corral games, hiking and exploring the petting zoo.
FOOD/LIQUOR
---
Ranch-fresh meals with homemade breads and desserts are served family style. Enjoy buffet breakfasts, picnics, on-the-trail lunches, sit-down dinners and BBQ'S. We will accommodate special diets (vegetarian, low fat) with prior notice. BYOB is the norm at the ranch although beer and wine is served at happy-hour.
