
Directions to Lost Valley Ranch

Directions from Denver and Denver International Airport
- From North -- Take 1-25 to 1-70 west and proceed on interstate approximately 10
miles to the west side of Denver. Exit onto Colorado Hwy. 470 South toward
Colorado Springs. Proceed approximately 5 miles, then exit right (Fairplay exit)
onto Hwy. 285 South heading southwest into the mountains.
From South -- Take 1-25 to Colorado Hwy. 470 North. Proceed approximately 15 miles then exit onto Hwy. 285 south (Fairplay exit) heading southwest into the mountains.
From Airport -- Go south on Pena Drive to 1-70 West -- proceed on interstate approximately 20 miles to west side of Denver. Exit onto Colorado Hwy. 470 South toward Colorado Springs. Proceed 5 miles and exit right onto Hwy. 285 South (Fairplay exit) heading southwest into the mountains.
Stay on Hwy. 285 approximately 23 miles to Pine Junction ...
- Hwy. 285 is a four-lane at this point, and in the center median there is a green sign
that points to left ("Pine, Buffalo Creek and Deckers"). Turn left at the stoplight
and proceed on Jefferson County Hwy. 126, approximately 22 miles south. The
last four miles are an 8 percent downhill grade. It is a 3 lane-road with wide sweeping
turns. At the bottom of the hill the road narrows very visibly to a 2 lane-road and
the speed limit decreases. Within 1/2 mile of this point and just beyond the
Wigwam parking area there is a wooden sign hanging from a rock wall on your
left. The sign includes Lost Valley Ranch. Turn right opposite the sign onto the
dirt road.
- Follow our dirt driveway for 9 miles to the Ranch. You'll encounter three forks in
the road as you proceed. Simply follow the directions indicated by the signs.
Time from downtown Denver is approximately 2 hours.
Directions from Colorado Springs
- Leave Colorado Springs on Hwy. 24 West into the mountains for approximately 18
miles to Woodland Park. Stay in right hand lane and exit onto Hwy. 67 North toward Deckers. Proceed 24 miles to Deckers.
- At Deckers veer left over the steel bridge and proceed on Jefferson County Hwy.
126, for 3 miles. Just past the Wigwam Fishing Club (on your left) you will see a
wooden sign hanging from a rock wall on your right. The sign includes Lost
Valley Ranch. Turn left opposite the sign onto the dirt road.
- Follow our dirt driveway for 9 miles to the Ranch. You'll encounter three forks in
the road as you proceed. Simply follow the directions indicated by the signs.
Time from downtown Colorado Springs is approximately 1 1/2 hours.
PLEASE NOTE: as the map indicates we are not located near Sedalia. The road from Sedalia to Deckers is not paved all the way and is windy and narrow at many points.
