RECREATION
---
People are saying they've ridden more than they could ever imagine. NO HEAD TO TAIL RIDING HERE! Riding horses and working cattle is our main emphasis. Our horse program is based on the Buck Brannaman style of horsemanship; a method that is both gentle and effective and creates a unique bond between horse and rider. Once you are comfortable with your horse, you can take what you've learned and head out and move cattle all season long, further your riding skills with our well taught horses and experienced wranglers in the comfort of our 1st class outside arenas, and indoor arena, or out in the meadows. Practice working cattle sorting, cutting, and ranch penning, or just head out and explore new country (We don't use trails). Be a part of starting our horses in the spring, and even learn to rope from the ground. With only about 19 people per week, and 6 wranglers, we can really give individual attention and tailor each day to you. Also take advantage of other seasonal activities such as mountain biking, hiking, world-class trout fishing, cross country skiing and snowshoeing (during March & April). Others choose to simply relax and take in the scenery in comfort from their private cabin deck.
FOR CHILDREN
---
The ranch does not offer a structured children's program, however, special arrangements can be made.
FOOD/LIQUOR
---
The cheeriest cooks in the West'll greet you every morning and evening. Every meal is prepared with pride, and the refrigerator is always open to you. If you're hungry here it's your own fault! You'll enjoy fresh breads, salads, fruits, and vegetables. We pack our lunches for a new lunch spot every day. Special diet? Just let the cooks know and they'll accommodate you. We offer wine at dinner and other beverages, but if you have a favorite wine, pop or beer, we recommend picking some up on the way out to the ranch.
BUSINESS/MEETINGS
---
Conferences, retreats, seminars and reunions of one full week during Peak and Off Peak Season are welcome with advance booking. Please, call for details and group rates.

Howdy folks! This is Dori here. You can see who we all are on the Staff Page of our website. Sunday: Get acquainted, meet the crew, orientation of the the week's activities, and we'll get to know your expectations too. Horses are selected that evening and written on the board in the barn - you are welcome to meet your horse in the meadow after dinner. Many of our repeat guests can point yours out to you. Monday: Help catch up your horse, brush, grain, and saddle at 7:15am, or sleep in. We'll see you at 8:15am for breakfast. Pack your lunch cause we have a new lunch spot everday. We work with you individually, to adjust your saddle just for you, and to learn this style of riding. We take all the time necessary to ensure you are comfortable with your horse, and you learn all the skills for a great week of working cattle, improving your riding skills, and enjoying the country. Dinner is at 6:30pm. Hot tub, a game of horseshoes, or relaxing around the fire pit is always a hoot after dinner! Tuesday-Friday: We are flexible. There's always cattle work to be done on 75,000 acres of summer range, learn to work your horse sorting, cutting, and ranch penning yearlings, further your horsemanship skills, learn to throw a rope from the ground, or find new routes over the surrounding mountains. Wednesdays & Thursdays: A masseuse comes in the afternoon after a day of riding for a welcome 1 hour massage! Fee varies. Saturdays: Leisurely breakfast, and we never say good-bye! It's "Till next time, we'll be looking for you!" I highly recommend taking this day to rent a car to see Glacier National Park and fly out on Sunday. This way you don't have to have a car for the whole week.
