| North Fork Ranch and its hosts Dean and Karen May have been opening their doors to friends since 1985. They have made this 520 acre, turn of the century property their home where they are raising their two children Hayley and Tyler. The ranch sits in the beautiful Pike National Forest and on 1/2 mile of private river,The North Fork of the South Platte. President Dwight Eisenhower made this part of the valley famous when he came to fish and relax. This riverside ranch offers families of all sizes a chance to ride, fish, hike, river raft, swim, play and have wholesome fun together. The May's believe in family, enjoy providing personal attention and welcome you into their home! |
| ITINERARY |

| Week at North Fork: Saturday: Arrive after 3pm, settle in, relax, fish, hike or take a refreshing dip in our outdoor heated pool. Sunday: Horseback riding orientation in the morning deep into 520 private acres of forest. Afternoon trail ride, Horsemanship clinic with the wranglers or learn to fly fish with our experienced professional guides. Western BBQ dinner followed by a sunset hayride and campfire sing a long. Monday: A thrilling day filled with whitewater rafting or a trail ride with a delicious lunch surrounded in wilderness. Tuesday: Morning ride brings you to 9,000 feet where a champaign brunch is enjoyed. (anyone not riding will be able to join us). A evening rendezvous with a Mtn Man story teller. Wednesday: A breathtaking high country hike, or a spectacular all day ride, all followed by a western steak cookout where you brand your own steak. Overnight in the tepee for kids...a highlight! Thursday: A scenic day trip to Breckenridge, a great day on the trail or just relax and enjoy the ranch amenities. Square dance the evening away. Friday: Morning trail ride, trap shooting or afternoon trail ride. Farewell dinner of five courses will complete your week. Saturday: Flapjack cookout and final photos and hugs with newfound friends. Begin your journey home by 10am with lots of memories packed! |
