| RECREATION |
Whether you are an accomplished rider or have never been in the saddle, riding at the R Lazy S will be a pleasurable experience. Since we have over 80 horses, we can select one that best fits your ability, keeping you on that horse and tack for the length of your stay. Morning and afternoon riders are divided into small groups according to ability and each is led by an experienced wrangler. We offer instruction. The R Lazy S has approximately 17 different all-day rides. Extensive fly fishing, with a guide or solo, is available. The R Lazy S has direct access to several miles of private frontage on the Snake River, one of the West's top trout fishing streams. The Gros Ventre and Teton Rivers, plus many other streams and mountain lakes, known for the quality of fish caught, are also nearby. Float trips, water skiing, swimming and even white water rafting in the Snake River area can be arranged. Back at the Ranch "swimming hole" and creek afford swimming and "inner tubing" opportunities for our more hardy guests, and there are several warm-spring pools in the Valley. We also have dancing, talent night and lawn games for families to enjoy.
Off site trips to Jackson can be arranged. There are Western art galleries and several theaters presenting old-fashioned melodramas. You can see Indian dances performed; shoot a round of golf on two beautiful 18-hole golf courses at the foot of the Tetons; play tennis or take mountain climbing instruction. You may choose to see quarter-horse shows and polo games; take part in the County Fair and parade; visit museums; enjoy a summer music festival and spectacular tram ride to the top of the Tetons at Teton Village. A day's trip to Yellowstone Park is always a great day for our guests. |

| FOR CHILDREN |
Children of 7 years and older are welcome from June through August (September is an adults only month). Interest for both children and teenagers centers around the horses. Their special riding program includes instruction, gymkhanas (games on horseback), half-day trail rides and all-day rides to nearby mountain lakes. Also marshmallow roasts, hayrides, and cookouts cater to youngsters. The younger guests normally ride separate from the adults with their own wranglers, but family rides are scheduled throughout the week and when requested. Children and teenagers have their own seperate dining room. |
| FOOD/LIQUOR |
| All you can eat, gourmet meals with a western flair are provided daily. Quality, balanced meals are served at sit down dinners in the lodge, which has great views of the Tetons. A Sunday 'welcome' happy hour is planned each week. Children dine seperate from their parents. Buffets and cookouts are also planned. |
