-Getting back to nature! We are located in the middle of the 3.3 million acre Gila National Forest. This is a great place for families to get away from the hustle and bustle of town and city life. Wildlife is plentiful here including large herds of elk, many types of birds, mule deer, javelina, eagles, and much more. It is a great place to learn and experience the beauty of our natural world. We love sharing our knowledge of the flora, fauna and wildlife with our guests! And the scenery is unparalleled: deep canyons, views from up high, open meadows, ponderosa forests, the variety is endless.
-History! The Mimbres people were in this area from 750-1150AD. Right in our area there are remains of pit houses, cliff dwellings and pictographs (rock paintings) that we take guests to explore. This is unique because these are not part of a National Park and there will be no one else there! Later, the Chiricahua Apaches were also in this area and Geronimo’s birthplace is within 15 miles of our ranch! Even more recently Cowboys and Basque Sheepherders stayed in the area and made shelters which remain today.
-The price is all-inclusive! Comfortable cabin, 3 full meals a day, horseback riding, hiking and all other activities and entertainment are included in the price!
-This is a great place for a family reunion! If there are between 9-15 people in your group you will have the ranch to yourselves and our undivided attention! |

Labour Day Weekend at the RODEO
Labour Day Weekend at the RODEOLabour Day Weekend at Barriere Fall Fair & Rodeo - CAD$845 per person. Friday 31st August - Monday 3rd September.
The North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo started back in 1950 as a celebration of agriculture, livestock, western country living and community spirit. Still going strong and in it's 62nd year, the focus remains the same. The Rodeo will feature saddle bronc, bareback riding, bull riding, tie down roping, steer wrestling, break away roping and team roping; not forgetting barrel racing, the only rodeo event for women. In addition we also get the opportunity to watch some Chariot Racing and the Pony Chuckwagon race.
The North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo rodeo is held on all 3 days of the Labour Day weekend and we have tailored a weekend package to take advantage of this great event.
On Friday arrive after 4pm and join us for a special Rodeo themed dinner.
Then on Saturday after breakfast, we will head out to the Fair Grounds at Barriere arriving in plenty of time for you to see some of the exhibits and shows before the Parade begins. Enjoy lunch straight out of the chuckwagon and then enjoy the Rodeo followed by the amazing Chuckwagon Races. After the rodeo, we will have dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to the ranch.
Sunday - after breakfast, head out on the trail for a morning ride followed by lunch at the ranch. After lunch head out on the trail again in a different direction and relax for a while before dinner.
On Monday enjoy one final trail ride in the morning. Depart after lunch.

As the adventure progresses, riders return each evening to the ranch where the home fires burn and cocktails, gourmet food and luxury cabins await. Then after a restful night, cowgirls mount up and venture out for another day on the scenic 'Big Sky' frontier.

A fireside awards ceremony at the home of Triple Creek Ranch's owner will follow the last day's ride. Included in this adventure is a Triple Creek Ranch gift and stories to re-tell for a lifetime.
