Long ago in the early days of ranching, men and women drove cattle for days from one area of the country to another - that was the only way to move large herds of cattle. Today, there are still a number of working ranches that move herds of cattle in this same way.
On Ranchweb you will find working ranches and dude ranches with cattle that offer a variety of cattle experiences. On authentic, real working ranches, the level of cattle work is much more than most other ranches. Here you will get to see what is involved to care and graze cattle. Some of the herds are relatively small and others are large so it is important to find out what you will experience.
