RECREATION
---
Our activities program, like everything at The Ranch at Rock Creek, is designed with your individual tastes, preferences, and needs in mind. Everything is included here, and the recreational opportunities are almost limitless. Horseback riding on trails that weave among our 6000+ acres, fly fishing our stretch of Blue Ribbon Rock Creek, fishing our stocked trout ponds, hiking, wildlife watching, mountain biking, sporting clays, archery, rafting, and games in The Granite Lodge are all popular pursuits. Rejuvenation and relaxation are a part of the total experience here at The Ranch at Rock Creek, with professional massage therapy treatments available in our dedicated five-room spa inside the stone-and-timber Granite Lodge. Swedish deep tissue massage, warm mountain rock treatments, high-tech or all-natural facials, and our signature 'Rock Creek Ritual' are always welcome after a vigorous day outdoors. Hair and nail styling is also available. Peruse the inviting options on our daily spa menu, tell us what time is best for you, and your therapist will take care of the rest. We believe that treating the body is critical to a healthy, energetic, and beautiful life -- even in Montana. The Ranch's onsite concierge staff will ensure that you can experience it all, so just let them know your interests and preferences and they will take care of the rest. Our surrounding communities are an important part of why The Ranch at Rock Creek is so special. Our guests enjoy visiting the nearby town of Philipsburg, with its sloping main street, charming shops, and intriguing architecture. The region boasts dozens of other appealing sites, including ghost towns, gem mining, live theatre, shops, rodeos, parades, festivals, historical sites, battlefields, museums, and more. We can also set up rafting trips, off-site guided fishing, mountain biking, wildlife safaris, birding excursions, and golf at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Old Works Golf Course just a short drive from The Ranch. Talk to our Activities Staff for ideas, and they can also set you up with a guide or naturalist interpreter. You'll find the culture of this part of rural Montana to be worth getting to know.

---
We are located in Granite County, near Philipsburg, MT which was founded in 1865. Philipsburg is a 19th century mining town and Granite County is home to over 2 dozen Ghost Towns and former mines. Granite County is the home of the longest operating live theater company, school and jail in Montana. Our 6800 acres located on nearly 4 miles of rock creek is one of the oldest and most beautiful ranches in the region.
