LODGING
Stagecoach Trails was built in 2000 with spacious, tastefully decorated accommodations. We have carefully designed the ranch so that the “old west blends with the new” for a wonderfully unique western experience. Since the ranch is barrier free, all of the public rooms, guest rooms and bathrooms are accessible. (If you don’t need the accessible features, you just get nice big guest rooms and bathrooms!). The western style Frontier Lodge is our gathering place and consists of a huge stone fireplace, comfortable couches, saloon bar (BYOB), Bison room with satellite TV where you can watch movies or your favorite shows, billiards table and a game table. We have a spacious courtyard area that is perfect for sunset viewing, star gazing at night, enjoying our cowboy singers or just relaxing by the fire.
Our family homes, which have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room with a fireplace, can accommodate groups or families of four to eight. Our guest rooms have either one queen bed or two double beds. (We also provide rollaway beds when needed.) All rooms have private baths with large verandas that are perfect for enjoying the sunsets, mountains and stars or visiting with new friends. The rooms are large, tastefully decorated either western or southwestern and comfortable. Each morning you will awake to the smell of wonderful home-cooked food and a dinner bell to tell you it’s time to eat.

RECREATION
Situated in one of the most beautiful areas of northwestern Arizona, we offer 2 horseback rides daily (no riding on Sundays). Our riding program is exceptional, as we cater all of rides to our guests’ abilities. And yes, you can ride the afternoon of your arrival and the morning of your departure! Our wranglers are friendly, knowledgeable and are careful to match horses to riders. Our well-trained horses are trail safe and excellent for all riders. We even have some gaited ones for a really smooth ride! We offer a variety of rides, including slow walking, intermediate trotting and fast, loping rides. We also offer challenging mountain rides(seasonal). Take our popular “Saguaro Hill” ride where the views are spectacular at the top. Be sure to bring your camera! Or choose our ½ day rides into the Mohave Mountains (October 15-May 1 only) where you will enjoy breathtaking views, authentic Indian petroglyphs and a 35 ft saguaro. Our heated swimming pool (heated seasonally) is always a favorite, especially during the hotter summer months. Our hot tub is enjoyed all year long by everyone, especially those wanting to “ease their saddle sores”. Located just 45 minutes from the ranch is Lake Havasu City, where guests can enjoy numerous water sport activities, including jet skis, powerboats, pontoon boats, canoes and kayaks. The famous Grand Canyon is a favorite place for our guests to visit. The west rim (which boasts the widest point of the canyon) is only 2 ½ hours away and the more popular south rim is 3 ½ hours from the ranch. At the west rim, whitewater rafting and spectacular scenic floats can be arranged on the Colorado River as well as helicopter rides into the canyon. The Hualapai Mountains are only an hour’s drive where you can enjoy beautiful pine trees and elk roaming the mountains. (A big change from the desert scenery at the ranch!) There is something for everyone here, whether it is on or off the ranch. You can relax, read a book, or enjoy the many activities offered at Stagecoach Trails. Do a lot, do nothing. We leave that up to you, because after all this is your vacation. In the hotter summer months, our riding times are altered to avoid the heat of the day. We do not offer 1/2 day or all day rides during the summer.

FOR CHILDREN
We love children of all ages. Children 8 and above are allowed to ride on their own out on the trails. They are encouraged and welcome to ride with their parents but separate rides can be arranged as well. Children 6 and 7 can be “ponied” out on the trails (our wranglers will be in control of their horse with a lead rope attached) at the parent’s discretion. Children 7 and under can ride in the arena and will enjoy a variety of horseback games and fun activities suited to their age and ability. No one is too young to ride even if it is just to sit on a horse for a picture! Our horses are excellent with children and they love getting carrots from them! There is also a variety of things for children to enjoy when they are not riding, such as games, ping pong, volleyball, basketball, tether ball, billiards and just meeting new friends! We have a sand box for the little ones too. We also have 6 dogs, 2 cats, 2 goats, and 2 burros who all love attention! They can spend hours throwing balls and sticks to our two border collies! With advance notice, babysitting can be arranged during rides. There is a nominal fee for this. And don’t forget about our swimming pool and hot tub-kids of all ages love them both!

FOOD/LIQUOR
Many friendships have begun around the tables in the Hualapai Dining Room at Stagecoach Trails. The relaxed, friendly atmosphere and incredible views create a feeling of family, laughter and good conversation. It feels like you are at home, without any of the work! Every meal is anticipated by our guests and served with a smile. Three delicious meals are prepared every day at Stagecoach Trails along with complimentary coffee, tea and other refreshing beverages. Everything is served buffet style so you can eat as little or as much as you want! All of our food is homemade and our desserts are already becoming legendary, so save room for them! You will never be hungry at Stagecoach Trails! Although we have a saloon bar in the lodge, we do not have a liquor license but you are welcome to BYOB and we will be happy to store it for your or provide you with a cooler and ice while you are here. Our bar is a popular gathering place for guests to get to know each other while enjoying an evening beer, glass of wine or a cocktail. (We do have a variety of sodas and bottled water for purchase in the lodge at all times.)

BUSINESS/MEETINGS
A great place for groups, family reunions, small business meetings, incentive trips or retreats. Ideal for everyone, young and old, because we offer something for everyone. Please ask us about our special group rates.

REGION/CUSTOMS
Stagecoach Trails is only 2 ½ hours from the Grand Canyon’s west rim (the widest point of the canyon) and 3 ½ hours from the more popular south rim. Lake Havasu City, which is only 45 minutes away, boasts the real London Bridge brought over from England in the 60’s and reconstructed brick by brick in Havasu. Lake Havasu also has countless activities going on throughout the year, including the famous Festival of Lights during the Christmas Holiday season and Winter Blast when all the major fireworks companies get together and light up the skies in Havasu with all their newest and best pyrotechnics. It is also well known for its swimming and boating activities, and often features large boating competitions including the World Jet Ski Finals. Kingman, also 45 minutes away, is located in the “heart of Route 66”. Stop by the visitor’s center which has a wonderful museum filled with artifacts from that famous era. Oatman, an old gold mining town is just over an hour away. It is famous for the Oatman Hotel where Clark Gable and Carol Lombard spent their honeymoon. You can tour the hotel and see their “honeymoon suite”. Don’t miss the gunfight that takes place every afternoon at 1:30pm. Guests especially love to feed the fifty or so wild burros that roam the streets every day. But watch out, they may grab your bag of souvenirs hoping it contains treats!

HISTORY/HOSTS
Stagecoach Trails is owned and operated by the Rynders family along with Randy, Carrie’s brother who cooks up all that great food. It was a dream of Carrie’s since she was a little girl to open a dude ranch and fortunately God blessed her with a family that was willing to move out to Arizona and fulfill her dream with her. Dan and Carrie’s daughter Amy, who has Cerebral Palsy and uses a wheelchair, is the main inspiration for Stagecoach Trails barrier free facilities. The ranch has only been in business for 4 years but we already have many repeat guests. We rely on the Internet for people to find out about us and then on word of mouth referrals. We pride ourselves on exceptional food; excellent horses and making everyone feel like family during their stay. Our “ranch family” is growing steadily. If you want to be part of our ranch family, and would like to come and visit us, we will gladly send you an informative brochure. Call us at 1-866-444-4471 or e-mail us at vacation@stgr.com.

ITINERARY
Every guest's itinerary varies because of the many choices of activities on and off the ranch. Most choose to ride and relax. Others like to participate in the many activities offered or just enjoy the swimming pool and hot tub. Many look forward to evenings in the lodge where they can get to know other guests or participate in activities that are offered. We leave that up to our guests to choose how much or how little they want to be involved. After all it is their vacation!
This is the basic Ranch schedule:
8:30 AM - Breakfast
9:30 AM – Morning ride**
1:00 PM – Lunch
2:30 – Afternoon Ride**
7 PM – Dinner (Dinner is at 7:30pm from May 1 through October 1)
After dinner, a variety of evening activities may be offered based on number of guests
SUNDAYS:
10 AM – Continental Breakfast
No Horseback Riding on Sundays
6:00 PM – Dinner
**During the hotter summer months, usually May 15 through September 30, morning rides go out before breakfast (between 6:00am and 7:00am depending on length of ride). The afternoon rides depart between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. These alternate ride times help our horses and our guests avoid the heat of the day. This gives you more time to enjoy the swimming pool and air-conditioned buildings or enjoy the many nearby attractions!
