| What makes a trip to three bars special is the people, the members of the beckley family and team three bars will be with you to help you experience the ranch and our part of the world. The same guides take you trail riding, hiking and rafting and we play volleyball at the end of the day with you. No one is left out - everyone is involved and busy. Trail riding, riding lessons as group or private and semi private lessons available, guided hiking, river float (July & Aug only) fly fishing, campfire program, heated swimming pool, outdoor hot tub,fitness room, mountain bikes, tennis, volleyball, horseshoes, billiards, table tennis, evening activities and lots of old fashioned fun. Massages available at the ranch. *New fall 2008 guests can add a 1/2 or full day of pheasant hunting on the ranch, with guides and bird dogs. |

| Kids rides are tailored to youthful skill levels and attention spans. You can be sure they include a strong dose of fun. Kids soon become comfortable with their own special horse for the week. Ride with your kids or the kids can join a kids only ride, it's up to you, families usually do a combination during the week, riding as a family part of the time then the kids riding with a kids group part of the week. We provide supervision for all kids on all rides, your welcome to join in on activities with the kids or stay back at the ranch and relax. Our program is designed for families to enjoy the ranch together. We do require adults to accompany the kids on raft trips. The ranch is a great place for kids to be kids, swimming, riding, playing in the creek or roasting a marshmallow over the evening fire. The kids as well as adults at the ranch make friends with the other guests fast and are off to a great week of fun and outdoor activity. Our program is designed for kids age 7 & up we do not have programs for kids under this age. Kids under the age of 7 will get a chance to be lead on a horse in the corrals after the rides return to the ranch so that even the little guys get a chance to be horseback. People travelling with smaller children often bring along a nanny. Babysitting available with advanced notice - special rates available for kids under riding age. |

| Three Bars kitchen prepares three great meals per day. Start your day with a steaming cup of coffee and real ranch style breakfast, pancakes, eggs & bacon or opt for the bagels, fresh fruit, cereal and yogurts, the buffett is available for an hour each morning. Large lunch and dinner buffets with a variety of salads and entrees, dinner is served with care and attention to detail with a full range from Barbecue New York Strip Steak to light dinners. Our kitchen prepares food the way you would if you had all day to do it. Fresh fruit is always available for snacks at the lodge. The lodge also has a full liquor license and offers a variety of mixed drinks and wines. Each cabin has a fridge for your own use as well as a coffee maker. The lodge has vending machines for snacks and pop. |

We are in the main range of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, surrounded by 10,000 peaks, rushing water beautiful valley bottoms. Riding season May - September. | Three Bars is home to your host family the Beckleys, Jeff & April along with (son) Tyler (wife)Jenna & (son)Jesse are very much a part of the day to day operations of the ranch. The Beckleys are third generation guest ranchers. Jeff Beckley and Son Jesse Beckley are both professional reining horse trainers,guests are welcome to visit the reining horse barns where they will find Jeff and Jesse riding on of the 20 professional reining horses in training or coaching some of the non-pro riders who ride with them. Guests who have a few minutes before or after a ride often spend time with Jeff & Jesse at the reining arena. Tyler Beckley is the ranch activities director and is eager to share his love for all sports with our guests. Tyler is our golfer, fly fisherman, rafter, he is also a riding instructor and our first-aid attendent. Jenna is usually found in the corrals with the horses or guiding a hiking trip. Families who have visited the ranch always have fond memories of the kids riding with Jenna. While April Beckley is often the voice at the end of the line when you call the ranch she carries a portable and your if you call in the afternoon it is likely that you will be talking to her while she is horseback. April still sneaks out of the office to ride competetive reining horses as well. With a strong background in tourism, recreation, agriculture and all things that involve horses the Beckley family welcome guests from around the world to be part of our world and experience the west Three Bars style. |
