HISTORY/HOSTS
Triple Creek Ranch’s original owner purchased the land that is now Triple Creek Ranch in 1982 and built what he believed to be the ideal mountain retreat. In September 1993, Triple Creek Ranch was purchased by long-time guests, Barbara and Craig Barrett of Arizona.

The original 40 acres were developed by Rev. and Mrs. House, of New York State. He was the minister at the Wesleyan Church in Conner and she was the schoolteacher at the red schoolhouse at the mouth of Piquette Creek Road. Both were also teachers at the Darby school. They raised four sons; Alvin, Paul, Robert, and Edwin. Judy and Wayne live in the original House home.

1982 – 1987
The concept of Triple Creek Ranch was realized with the construction of six cabins along with the Lodge, restaurant, swimming pool, tennis court, and riding center.

1987 - 1993
Triple Creek Ranch a Montana Hideaway became the newest ranch experience for discerning guests.

1993 - 1996
Craig and Barbara Barrett became the new owners of Triple Creek Ranch. The Montana Hideaway opened to year-round operation and became a member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux organization.

2005 - 2006
After 24 years, The Lodge at Triple Creek Ranch received a complete renovation. An impressive state-of-the-art kitchen was designed featuring a glass-enclosed Chef’s Table; the Roof Top Lounge was expanded with large windows placed at every angle to provide picturesque views of the mountain landscape; and a beautiful glass-enclosed, climate-controlled wine room was built to house approximately 2,000 bottles of fine wine from around the world.

2006 - 2007
Ponderosa cabin, Triple Creek Ranch’s first three-bedroom cabin, was constructed. Overlooking a dramatic mountain vista, Ponderosa features 3,600 feet of living space with an open kitchen and dining area; a two-story, vaulted ceiling; and two-story rock fireplace. A multi-level deck overlooks a pond tucked among the Ponderosa pines with mountain views in the distance and abundant wildlife. Each room has a massive King log post bed and a flat-screen television with DVD. Just .6 miles from the Lodge, the three-bedroom, three-bathroom home is perfect for up to six guests seeking a private setting and lots of space.

150 mother cows are purchased to begin the Triple Creek Ranch cow program. The 1st Annual Spring Roundup weekends are planned for 2008.

2008
Triple Creek Ranch acquires 10 neighboring acres and Chipmunk cabin is added. The Suites, Poolside and Lookout are remodeled from two bedroom suites into one bedroom Luxury Suites. Aspen and Paradise, both two bedroom Luxury Cabins are constructed to replace the two bedroom suites.

2009
The dining room floor is remodeled and a hot tub is added to Chipmunk Cabin. Judy and Wayne Kilpatrick, general managers since the beginning, retire and Leslie and William McConnell are named Triple Creek Ranch general managers. Big Sky, El Capitan and Castle Rock Cabins are remodeled.

2010
Remodeling, renovating and improvements begin. All cabins were remodeled and redecorated in the Spring of 2010 in preparation for the arrival of returning guests and the excitement of meeting and hosting new and old friends.
