HISTORY/HOSTS
---
The ranch was founded in 1929 by Bob Rumsey. The first cabin on the ranch, now called the Hideout, was built around the turn of the century as the office to the logging camp. Most of the other cabins were built in the late 20's and early 30's. The most recent, the Hollister, was added to the ranch in 1999. It came from another ranch 20 miles down the road and was reconstructed by the river at the UXU Ranch. The Hollister cabin was once a stagecoach stop on the way to Yellowstone Park.
