LODGING
Our log lodge, hewn from local timber, features six spacious guest rooms, each with private baths. While staying at the ranch you will discover the peace and serenity of our modern log cabins in secluded settings. Each cabin can accommodate up to six, yet is cozy enough for two, with one bedroom, a full bath and sleeping loft for four.

RECREATION
Trail rides - saddle up for some good old fashioned fun as you ride along the ridges and valleys of this third-generation cattle ranch. Ride through grazing cattle or sneak a peek at deer, bear and other wildlife in their native surroundings. Western Pleasure Guest Ranch also offers activities such as volleyball, horseshoes, wildlife viewing, wagon and sleigh rides and a rec room with air hockey, a pool table and TV area.

FOR CHILDREN
Children are welcome as the Western Pleasure Guest Ranch is a family oriented ranch. Children and parents play together. Min. riding age of 6.

FOOD/LIQUOR
At days end, enjoy a hearty ranch style dinner. We are especially proud of our beef products which are raised naturally on grain and grass here on the ranch. No steroids are used and the cattle are processed through the family's own federally inspected plant. BYOB

BUSINESS/MEETINGS
Western Pleasure Guest Ranch is a great location for business meetings and retreats. Our surroundings stimulate fresh ideas and creative thinking and the ranch cooks will keep you well fed. We can accommodate up to 34 people. You can choose from three different locations in the lodge to hold meetings. The ranch is available for business retreats from September to June.

HISTORY/HOSTS
Roley and Janice are both natives of Sandpoint, ID. Janice grew up on the ranch that is now known as the Western Pleasure Guest Ranch. Janice’s Grandpa, Riley Wood, came to Sandpoint in 1940 and the family has been on the ranch since that time. Horses have always been a major part of Janice’s life. As a child she was very involved in the local 4-H program. In 1982, she married Roley, her high school sweetheart. They moved away from Sandpoint to pursue Roley’s college career. He received a degree in business administration and six years after leaving Sandpoint, they returned home.
