About the ranch
Eatons’ Ranch is a Wyoming dude ranch and working cattle ranch located on the magnificent, pine-covered eastern slopes of the Bighorn Mountains in northeastern Wyoming.
Just 18 miles west of Sheridan, the ranch consists of 7,000 acres of beautiful open country with rolling hills, grassy meadows and hidden valleys.
Twisting processions of cottonwood and pine trees mark the course of tumbling streams that roll out of the mountains.

Why we love it
- Magnificent scenery; beautiful open country and the pine-covered eastern slopes of the Bighorn Mountains in northeastern Wyoming, with rolling hills, grassy meadows and hidden valleys
- Family-owned and operated, it's a great place to bring the kids - there's a dedicated children's program
- The lodging is varied, cabins vary in size to suit small or large families, couples and singles.
- They offer B&B during the winter months (Jan-April) so you can head over for a couple of days staycation out of main season
What to consider
- The ranch has a large capacity, so might not suit if you're looking for more 'boutique' experience
